THE FOUNDATION RAISED MONEY THROUGH FUNDRAISING AND CREATING AWARENESS FOR THE REACH GEORGIA PROGRAM, WHICH IS AIMED TO SUPPORT OVER 2,800 LOW-INCOME STUDENTS IN ALL 180 SCHOOL SYSTEMS ACROSS THE STATE OF GEORGIA BY 2020 AND ENSURE THESE STUDENTS HAVE THE ACADEMIC, SOCIAL, AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT NEEDED TO GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL, ACCESS COLLEGE, AND ACHIEVE POSTSECONDARY SUCCESS.
THE FOUNDATION INVESTED FUNDS FROM THE FOUNDATION'S FUNDRAISING EFFORTS AND FUNDS HELD ON BEHALF OF THE GEORGIA STUDENT FINANCE AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE FOR FUTURE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR REACH SCHOLARS AND FOR ITS OWN ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES.
