Part 3
OUR MISSION IS TRAINING NEEDS TO BE CONDUCTED ON A ROUTINE BASIS OTHERWISE AN INDIVIDUALS ABILITY TO PERFORM UNDER STRESS IS DIMINISHED EXPONENTIALLY. GUARDIANS MUST COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND BOTH THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LEGAL REQUIREMENTS THAT AFFECT THEIR PROFESSION. SGA RECOGNIZES SCHOOL GUARDIANS FALL INTO THAT CLASS OF WARRIOR AND, AS SUCH, DESERVE THE EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO SURVIVE ON THAT BATTLE FRONT. SGAS BACKGROUND IN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PARTNERSHIPS FORGED WITHIN THE FIREARMS INDUSTRY ALLOW FOR TRAINING IN A WIDE VARIETY OF FIREARMS. BELONGING TO A GROUP OF LIKE MINDED PEOPLE WHERE GUARDIANS CAN SHARE SIMILAR INTERESTS AND EXPERIENCES IS VITAL TO THEIR SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM. ONE WAY SOCIETY RESPONDS TO A TRAGEDY IS TO PUT IN PLACE MEASURES WHICH RECOGNIZE, PREVENT, AND INTERVENE PRIOR TO THE EMERGENCE OF THE NEXT THREAT. THE FLORIDA STATE LEGISLATURE CREATED THE CIVILIAN SCHOOL GUARDIAN POSITION AS A MEANS TO PROTECT OUR SCHOOLS AND CHILDREN.
