TRANSFORMATION YOGA PROJECT OFFERS TOOLS OF SELF-EMPOWERMENT TO PEOPLE HARMED BY TRAUMA FROM ADDICTION, INCARCERATION, OR WAR. PARTICIPANTS DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS FOR HEALING WITH EVIDENCE-BASED AND TRAUMA-INFORMED YOGA AND MINDFULNESS.

Part 3
DEVELOPED AND TAUGHT YOGA CLASSES AT REHABILITATION FACILITIES, JUVENILE DETENTION CENTERS, PRISONS, AND AT THE COATESVILLE VA HOSPITAL.
SINCE MARCH OF 2020 VIRUTALLY ALL IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING WAS INDEFINITELY SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS. THE ORGANIZATION FELT COMPELLED TO SUPPORT BOTH FRONT-LINE ORGANIZATIONS AND OTHER YOGA SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH UNRESTRICTED GRANTS. THESE ORGANIZATIONS SERVE SIMILAR COMMUNITIES AS TYP WITH FOCUS ON THOSE DEALING WITH TRAUMA AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE WITHIN THE JUSTICE AND RECOVERY COMMUNITIES.
