FREDLA IS A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS AND LEADERS FROM FAMILY-RUN ORGANIZATIONS (FROS) COMMITTED TO CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILIES. FREDLA OFFERS CONSULTATION, TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO STATE AND LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS VIA TECHNOLOGY OR IN PERSON. OUR RESOURCES, PUBLICATIONS AND CURRICULA HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY THE EXPERIENCES OF FAMILY LEADERS AND OTHERS WITH POLICY AND PROGRAM EXPERTISE. WE PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SYSTEMS OF CARE, PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH EFFORTS AND DEVELOP TOOLS TO ADVANCE POSITIVE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES. FREDLA ADDRESSES THE NEEDS OF FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN OF ALL AGES. FREDLA IS HOST TO THE NATIONAL EARLY CHILDHOOD FAMILY NETWORK AND WORKS WITH PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF YOUNG ADULTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY. FREDLA HAS PROVIDED NATIONAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND CONSULTATION AS PARTNERS WITH NATIONAL TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER FOR CHILDREN'S BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, GEORGETOWN CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER, CENTER FOR APPLIED RESEARCH SOLUTIONS, CENTER FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION, AND POLICY RESEARCH ASSOCIATES AND HAS PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO STAKEHOLDERS IN ALL 50 STATES AND TERRITORIES AS WELL AS CONTRACTS WITH 7 STATES FOR TRAINING AND TA. FREDLA HAS HAD A 3-YEAR PATIENT-CENTERED OUTCOMES RESEARCH GRANT FOR RESEARCH AND CURRENTLY IS A PARTNER IN A NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH R34 RESEARCH GRANT ON FAMILY NAVIGATION. FREDLA FACILITATES A NATIONAL FAMILY RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP GROUP WITH SEVEN UNIVERSITIES AND FAMILY-RUN ORGANIZATIONS TO FURTHER RESEARCH ON FAMILY SUPPORT.
