EDUCATE GIRLS PROMOTES AND PROTECTS THE RIGHT OF GIRLS TO A QUALITY EDUCATION AND WORKS BY SUPPORTING PARTNERS IN GEOGRAPHIES WHERE THE NEED IS GREATEST TO MOBILIZE COMMUNITIES, ENROLL GIRLS INTO SCHOOL AND IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES. OUR VISION IS THAT EVERY GIRL IS IN SCHOOL,LEARNING AND COMPLETES 12 YEARS OF EDUCATION.

EDUCATE GIRLS AWARDS GRANTS TO PROXIMATE NON-PROFIT PARTNERS IN INDIA TO ENGAGE IN PROGRAMMATIC ACTIVITIES IN SUPPORT OF THE MISSION TO ENSURE THAT GIRLS ARE IN SCHOOL AND LEARNING WELL. IN THE PAST YEAR, GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO LOCAL NON-PROFIT PARTNERS WORKING IN MULTIPLE STATES, INCLUDING RAJASTHAN, MADHYA PRADESH, UTTAR PRADESH, HARYANA, AND BIHAR. THE EDUCATE GIRLS INVESTMENT INCLUDES MULTI-YEAR GRANT AWARDS AS A LONG-TERM COMMITMENT AND INVESTMENT IN THE VILLAGES IN WHICH OUR PARTNERS WORK AND ACKNOWLEDGES THE COMMITMENT TO GIRLS EDUCATION AS AN ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY TO EACH GIRL ONCE WE MAKE AN INVESTMENT IN THE VILLAGE. PROGRAMS SUPPORTED WERE FOCUSED ON IDENTIFICATION OF OUT-OF-SCHOOL GIRLS, ENROLLMENT, RETENTION, AND LEARNING OUTCOMES OF VULNERABLE GIRLS FROM REMOTE VILLAGES INTO GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS FOR PRIMARY THROUGH SECONDARY EDUCATION. THE TOTAL GRANT EXPENSES INCLUDE A PLANNED DRAWDOWN OF MULTI-YEAR COMMITMENTS TO THE VILLAGES IN WHICH WE CURRENTLY OPERATE PROGRAMS TO FULFILL THE GOALS OF THE AUDACIOUS PROJECT WITH A RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN PRESENCE IN A VILLAGE FOR 3-5 YEARS TO ENSURE SATURATION AND MINDSET SHIFT/BEHAVIORAL CHANGE HAS OCCURRED FOR FUTURE SUSTAINABILITY.
EDUCATE GIRLS INVESTS IN TECHNICAL ADVISING AND CAPACITY BUILDING OF GRANTEE PARTNERS IN THE AREAS OF DATA ANALYTICS, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS, STRATEGY, AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE. OUR PARTNERS USE THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS TO ENHANCE THEIR ABILITY TO COLLECT AND TRACK DATA, RESULTING IN IMPROVED DATA COLLECTION AND ROBUST METRICS. THESE INVESTMENTS ARE CENTRAL TO THE EDUCATE GIRLS CORE PHILOSOPHY OF ENGAGING IN PROXIMATE GRANT- MAKING IN ORDER TO BUILD AND STRENGTHEN THE ABILITY OF LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO DELIVER THE EDUCATE GIRLS MODEL IN THEIR DISTRICTS WHILE ENSURING EFFECTIVENESS, EFFICIENCY, AND SUSTAINABILITY.
EDUCATE GIRLS INVESTS IN GLOBAL STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT TO AMPLIFY THE ISSUE OF GIRLS EDUCATION AND PROVIDE THOUGHT LEADERSHIP TO SHARE OUR IMPACT, PROMOTE LOCALLY-BASED AND OUTCOMES-DRIVEN GRANTMAKING, AND PARTICIPATE IN CONFERENCES WITH GLOBAL LEADERS.
