WE CONDUCTED A 3-DAY "TOOLS OF THE TRADE" CONFERENCE - BOTH IN-PERSON AND VIA WEBINAR. WE LAUNCHED A MONTHLY ACCREDITED SERIES OF WEBINARS HIGHLIGHTING NEW BREASTFEEDING/LACTATION RELATED RESEARCH, A 1-DAY "LACTATION: BEYOND THE BASICS" WEBINAR AND ECOURSE, AND A 1-DAY "BASICS OF BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT FOR THE NICU OR PICU DYAD" WEBINAR AND ECOURSE. WE CONDUCTED A UNIQUE "ART AND SCIENCE OF BREASTFEEDING" CONFERENCE.WE CONDUCTED A 1-DAY "MEDICAL AND SURGICAL CONDITIONS OF THE LACTATING BREAST" WEBINAR AND ECOURSE.
BREASTFEEDING SUPPORTER EDUCATION. IABLE TRAINED 1452 PEOPLE IN OUR BASICS AND BEYOND BASICS COURSES; 2747 PEOPLE ENROLLED IN OUR MONTHLY CASE STUDIES AND RESEARCH WEBINARS, AND 650 PEOPLE ENROLLED IN 3 SPECIAL-PROGRAM WEBINARS.
E-COURSES AND PUBLICATIONS. WE PROVIDE REFERENCE MATERIALS FOR PHYSICIANS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS. THIS INCLUDES A FREE MOBILE APP CALLED "LACTFACTS", BASED ON OUR WEEKLY BLOG, WHICH PROVIDES SUMMARIES OF THE LATEST CLINICAL RESEARCH IN HUMAN LACTATION. WE LAUNCHED AN ACCREDITED ONLINE COURSEWARE PLATFORM WITH SELF-PACED MODULES ON A VARIETY OF BREASTFEEDING CARE TOPICS, WHICH CAN BE VIEWED AS A WEBSITE OR MOBILE APP. WE LAUNCHED A FREE WEBSITE/MOBILE APP THAT PROVIDES INFO ON WHEN IT IS MEDICALLY NECESSARY FOR A MOTHER TO DISPOSE OF HER BREASTMILK.
