MISSION AT THE LONGVIEW DREAM CENTER (LDC) IS TO PROVIDE BASIC HUMANITARIAN NEEDS, RESOURCES AND LIFE ENHANCING PROGRAMS TO THE PEOPLE OF LONGVIEW AND THE GREATER EAST TEXAS REGION. VISION IS TO PROVIDE FREE FOOD & CLOTHING TO ANYONE IN NEED THROUGHOUT LONGVIEW, TEXAS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. THE LDC PROVIDES HUNGER RELIEF, SENIOR BOXES, FRESH PRODUCE, AND FREE CLOTHING, TO THOSE IN NEED OR A CRISIS.

LIFESOURCE FOOD PANTRY: CLIENT CHOICE FOOD PANTRY IS OPEN TUESDAY AND THURSDAY FROM 9:00AM - 5:30PM. IDENTIFICATION & PROOF OF RESIDENCY IS REQUESTED. EACH HOUSEHOLD MAY BE SERVED ONCE PER MONTH. A TOTAL OF 2,754 FAMILIES WERE SERVED IN 2021 WITH 1,097 BEING NEW FAMILIES TO THE PANTRY.
FRESH PRODUCE DISTRIBUTION: FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLE DISTRIBUTION IS OPEN EVERY SATURDAY FROM 9:00AM - 12:00PM, EXCLUDING 5TH WEEKS OF A MONTH. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE FRESH PRODUCE AND EACH HOUSEHOLD MAY COME EVERY WEEK. A TOTAL OF 14,101 FAMILIES WERE SERVED IN 2021.
SENIOR BOX PROGRAM: FOOD PROGRAM FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IS THE 3RD WEDNESDAY FROM 9:00AM - 12:00PM. CLIENTS MUST BE AT LEAST 60 YEARS OR OLDER AND MEET INCOME GUIDELINES. THERE WAS A TOTAL OF 426 FAMILIES SERVED IN 2021 AND 3,209 BOXES GIVEN.
TWICE BUT NICE FREE CLOTHING SHOP: IS OPEN WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY FROM 9:00AM -12:00PM. IDENTIFICATION IS REQUESTED TO RECEIVE FREE CLOTHING.CLIENTS MAY BE SERVED ONCE PER MONTH. THERE WAS A TOTAL OF 874 FAMILIES SERVED IN 2021 AND 76,623 ITEMS OF CLOTHING DISTRIBUTED.
