THE TASH FARMERS MARKET IS HELD EACH SATURDAY, MAY THROUGH NOVEMBER, WITH MORE THAN 30 VENDOR STALLS PROVIDING FRESH FRUITS, VEGETABLES, ARTISANAL BREADS, MEATS, CHEESES AND MORE.WE HOST CHEF DEMOS, ART PROJECTS, CHILDRENS ACTIVITIES AND MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT. THE TASH FARMERS MARKET OFFERS A VARIETY OF FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY INCLUDING SNAP DOUBLE BUCKS, FOOD PANTRY PARTNERSHIP, AND OTHER PROGRAMS FOR SENIORS, VETERANS AND INCOME-ELIGIBLE MOTHERS OF SMALL CHILDREN. WE COLLABORATE WITH OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AT PARK EVENTS AND CONCERTS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, MARKET MONETARY ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS AND ADVOCATE THE IMPORTANCE OF EATING LOCALLY GROWN FOOD.
