WE EXIST TO SUPPORT THE PLACEMENT OF ORPHANED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN LOVING, CHRISTIAN FAMILIES IN AFRICA. THIS MINISTRY BELIEVES THAT IT IS BEST FOR ALL CHILDREN TO BE A PART OF A FAMILY AND IT IS THE WAY FOR THEM TO BECOME GODLY, SELF-SUFFICIENT MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY. OUR ACTIVITIES WILL BE TO SUPPORT, FUNDRAISE, PRAY FOR AND ENCOURAGE THE FAMILIES RAISING ORPHANED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN AFRICA. THIS WILL BE THROUGH SUPPORTING THE ORPHANAGE FINANCIALLY AND SUPPORTING ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECTS FOR THE FAMILIES. WE WILL SEND VOLUNTEERS AND GOODS TO HELP THE FAMILIES SUPPORT THE CHILDREN. CHILD SPONSORSHIP: MAVUNO SPONSORS EACH OF THESE CHILDREN TO PROVIDE FOR THEIR FOOD, CLOTHING, EDUCATION AND MEDICAL COSTS.
CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT FUND: ON CAMPUS FAMILIES WORK ON THE MAVUNO VILLAGE CAMPUS AND HAVE 10 CHILDREN PLACED IN THEIR FAMILY. OFF-CAMPUS FAMILIES CONTINUE THEIR PROFESSION OR WORK AND ACCEPT 1 TO 3 CHILDREN INTO THEIR FAMILY.
