CURECERVICALCANCER IS DEDICATED TO THE PREVENTION OF CERVICAL CANCER FOR WOMEN IN LOW- AND MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES. OUR TARGETED AND COMMUNITY-BASED APPROACH INCLUDES A COMPREHENSIVE OVERALL STRATEGY FOR CERVICAL CANCER PREVENTION. * BRINGING HPV TESTING AND TREATMENT WITH THERMAL ABLATION DIRECTLY INTO THE COMMUNITY * COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS TARGETING WOMEN AND MEN * REACHING KEY POPULATIONS (IE WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV) * INCREASING ACCESS AND UPTAKE TO TREATMENT THROUGH COMMUNITY BASED MOBILE CLINICS AND CAPACITY-BUILDING AT PARTNERING HEALTHCARE FACILITIES * PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT TO WOMEN WHO REQUIRE ADVANCED/PALLIATIVE CARE THROUGH A TRAINED PATIENT NAVIGATOR CURECERVICALCANCER STRENGTHENS HEALTH SYSTEMS BY TRAINING AND UPSKILLING HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, LAB TECHNOLOGISTS, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH VOLUNTEERS. IN 2022, CCC ACHIEVED THE FOLLOWING IN KENYA, TANZANIA, AND UGANDA (COMBINED): SCREENED 14,073 WOMEN FOR CERVICAL CANCER, TREATED 2,074 WOMEN FOR CERVICAL PRE-CANCER, AND TRAINED AND UPSKILLED 1,092 HEALTHCARE WORKERS.
