MPAC IS A CIVIL RIGHTS AND ACTIVIST ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EQUALITY. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF ITS CONGREGANTS AND THE CITIZENS OF GREATER NEW YORK CITY THROUGH THE MOBILIZATION OF CLERGY AND COMMUNITY.

THE OCCUPANCY AND PRODUCTION EXPENSE IS BY FAR THE LARGEST AS IT PROVIDES THE ADEQUATE WORKING SPACE,EQUIPMENT AND PRODUCTION SPACE FOR HOUSING AND TEACHING MUSIC PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION TO THE THE COMMUNITY. THIS INSPIRES THE MINDS OF YOUNG AND OLD INDIVIDUALS TO BECOME ENTREPRENEURS AND SCHOLARS IN THE AREA OF MUSIC CREATION, PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND LEARNING FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE DISADVANTAGE CHILDREN.


THE SCHOLARSHIP EXPENSE IS AN ESPECIALLY VITAL PART OF THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHING ITS MISSION. DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED OVER $30,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO OVER 12 INDIVIDUALS TO AID IN THEIR EXPENSES TOWARD ROOM, BOARD, BOOKS, AND SUPPLIES. THE ORGANIZATION WILL CONTINUE TO FOSTER AND ASSIST STUDENTS IN THEIR UPWARD MIBILITY.


SIMILAR TO HOW THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS, THE ORGANIZATION IN TURN PROVIDE DONATIONS TO NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SO THAT THESE ORGANIZATIONS CAN CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE NEEDED OUTREACH AND SUPPORT TO THEIR COMMUNITY AND TO THOSE IN NEED. THIS DONATION EXPENSE HELPS TO SUPPORT THE HUMANITARIAN NEEDS NOT ONLY TO THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY, BUT OUTSIDE AS WELL. MPAC ENDEAVOR TO PROMOTE A MODEL OF "GIVING BACK."
