WATER AND RESPONSE - WORKS TO RESPOND QUICKLY AND PASSIONATELY TO HELP PEOPLE RECOVER AND REBUILD IN THE WAKE OF DISASTERS. THROUGH OUR WATER AND RESPONSE PROGRAM, WE PARTNER WITH OTHER COMPANIES TO CAN, SHIP AND DISTRIBUTE CLEAN DRINKING WATER TO COMMUNITIES IN NEED POST-DISASTER. WE HAVE RESPONDED TO 54 NATURAL DISASTERS AND SHIPPED 2.7 MILLION CANS OF WATER SINCE OUR INCEPTION.
MUSIC AND ARTS - THROUGH OUR MUSIC AND ARTS PROGRAM, WE WORK TO ELIMINATE BARRIERS AND PROVIDE ACCESS TO MUSIC, ARTS AND CULTURE. CAN'D AID WORKS WITH NATIONALLY TOURING MUSICIANS (TUNES AMBASSADORS), AND PROVIDES HANDS-ON MUSIC WORKSHOPS FOR UNDERSERVED YOUTH AND HAVE DONATED MORE THAN 3,000 INSTRUMENTS TO TITLE 1 PUBLIC SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAMS IN NEED ACROSS THE COUNTRY. WE ALSO PROVIDE SMALL GRANTS TO EMERGING ARTISTS TO HELP SUPPORT THEM IN THEIR CAREERS.
TREADS AND TRAILS - THIS PROGRAM IS FOCUSED ON DECREASING SCREENTIME AND PROMOTING ACTIVE AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES FOR UNDERSERVED YOUTH. VOLUNTEERS HAVE BUILT AND HELPED DONATE OVER 10,500 BIKES, SKATEBOARDS AND HELMETS FOR YOUTH ACROSS THE U.S. CAN'D AID HAS ALSO WORKED TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO MULTI-USE TRAILS IN COLORADO, VERMONT AND NORTH CAROLINA.
RECYCLING AND SUSTAINABILITY AND OTHER PROGRAMS - FROM HELPING LAUNCH SUSTAINABLE RECYCLING PROGRAMS TO SPEARHEADING RIVER, BEACH AND TRAIL CLEAN-UPS, CAN'D AID WORKS TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. OUR RECYCLING PROGRAM, THE CRUSH IT CRUSADE, PROVIDES ORGANIZATIONS, PARKS, MUNICIPALITIES AND SCHOOLS WITH TRAINING AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO LAUNCH THEIR OWN SUSTAINABLE RECYCLING PROGRAMS.
