THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO EQUIP EVANGELICAL AND REFORMED CHRISTIANS FOR CHURCH LEADERSHIP, CIVIC PARTICIPATION, AND FAITHFUL DISCIPLESHIP IN OTHER VOCATIONS AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, BY ENCOURAGING SCHOLARLY RESEARCH INTO THE TIME-TESTED RESOURCES OF EARLY PROTESTANT THEOLOGY, PHILOSOPHY, ETHICS, CIVICS, AND JURISPRUDENCE, AND BY PUTTING THESE RESOURCES AT THE DISPOSAL OF THE CONTEMPORARY CHURCH.

Part 3 - Line 4a

IN THE 2021-22 FISCAL YEAR, THE DAVENANT INSTITUTE CONTINUED AND EXPANDED ITS WORK OF RENEWING CHRISTIAN WISDOM FOR THE CONTEMPORARY CHURCH THROUGH OUR PUBLISHING OPERATIONS, OUR COURSES, AND OUR IN-PERSON EVENTS. UNDER THE FIRST HEADING, WE CONTINUED PUBLISHING OUR QUARTERLY JOURNAL, AD FONTES, AS WELL AS PUBLISHING SEVERAL NEW BOOKS. UNDER THE SECOND HEADING, WE EXPANDED OUR DAVENANT HALL PROGRAM OF ONLINE EDUCATION WITH MANY NEW COURSES AND TEACHERS AND LAUNCHED A NEW DEGREE TRACK. UNDER THE THIRD HEADING, WE HELD THREE REGIONAL MINI-CONFERENCES AND A LARGER NATIONAL CONFERENCE. WE ALSO SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDED THE PHYSICAL FOOTPRINT OF OUR DAVENANT HOUSE PROPERTY BY USING A LARGE ONE-TIME GRANT TO PURCHASE A SECOND HOUSE AND SURROUNDING ACREAGE.
