WEST STANLY CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES OPERATES A FOOD PANTRY FOR NEEDY INDIVIDUALS IN THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. MOST OF THE FOOD IS DONATED BY LOCAL INDIVIDUALS AND RETAIL STORES. PEOPLE SERVED BY THE FOOD PANTRY RECEIVE FOOD AT NO CHARGE. IN 2021 THE FOOD PANTRY DISBURSED 63,044 POUNDS OF FOOD TO 849 INDIVIDUALS.
THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO NEEDY INDIVIDUALS IN THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES FOR HOUSING, UTILITIES, MEDICAL CARE, MEDICINE AND VARIOUS OTHER NEEDS. ALL REVENUE IS PROVIDED BY CASH DONATIONS AND CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD DONATIONS WHICH ARE SOLD IN THE ORGANIZATION'S THRIFT STORE. 252 HOUSEHOLDS, 871 INDIVIDUALS WERE ASSISTED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM.
