COURT 13 ARTS IS A NEW ORLEANS-BASED NONPROFIT ARTS ENGINE WHOSE MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE CREATION OF ADVENTUROUS ART THAT INSPIRES THE PUBLIC. BY DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE SPACES TO CREATE AND EXHIBIT NEW WORK, WE STRIVE TO BUILD AND SUPPORT A CREATIVE COMMUNITY THAT GENERATES GROUND-BREAKING ARTISTIC EXPERIENCE ACROSS CULTURES AND MEDIUMS.

THE COURT 13 ARTS RESIDENCY PROGRAM PROVIDES ARTISTS AT ALL STAGES OF THEIR CAREERS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE EXPERIENTIAL WORK IN A SPECIFIC CONTEXT AND TO MEET AND INTERACT WITH NEW ORLEANS ARTISTIC COMMUNITY. RESIDENCIES ARE OPEN TO EMERGING AND MID-CAREER ARTISTS, AS WELL AS CRAFTAPEOPLE, CREATIVES, AND NON-ARTISTS WHO DISPLAY A LEVEL OF TALENT, IMAGINATION, CONCEPYUAL CREATIVITY, TECHNIQUE AND RISK-TAKING. SELECTED ARTIST WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH COURT 13 ARTS STAFF TO SET UP ROJECTS TO BEST USE THE SPACE AND TIME AVAILABLE.
