THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE CANAL WINCHESTER LABOR DAY FESTIVAL, INC WAS ORGANIZED AND OPERATES IS: A: TO ORGANIZE, PROMOTE AND EXECUTE THE ANNUAL CANAL WINCHETER LABOR DAY FESTIVAL B: TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE ABOVE PURPOSE, BY IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS TO FULFILL THE PRUPOSE AND / OR BY MAKING DONATIONS TO OTHER ESTABLISHED 501(C)(3) TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS WITH SIMILAR PURPOSES.

Part 3
DUE TO COVID, THE 2022 FESTIVAL WAS CELEBRATED AS THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CANAL WINCHSTER LABOR DAY FESTIVAL. THE HEADLINER FOR THE WEEKEND WAS NATIONAL ACT UNCLE KRACKER. OTHER POPULAR ACTS PERFORMED DURING FESTIVAL HOURS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND. ALL ENTERTAINMENT IS FREE. POPULAR ACTS INCLUDED A MOTOWN TRIBUTE BAND AND AN EAGLES TRIBUTE BAND.
INFO BOOTH - 400 TOTAL INCOME = 400 GOLF CARTS - 1,275 INFO BOOTH - 496 TOTAL EXPENSES = 1,771
RIDES AND FOOD VENDORS: THE FESTIVAL MIDWAY FEATURED GAMES, FOOD VENDORS AND RIDES. A VARIETY FOOD WAS OFFERED TO TEMPT ANY PALATE. DINING TENTS WERE PROVIDED ALONG THE MIDWAY SO ATTENDEES COULD SIT AND ENJOY THEIR FOOD IN THE SHADE. THE MANY MIDWAY RIDES COULD BE ENJOYED BY YOUNG CHILDREN AS WELL AS TEENS AND ADULTS. AN ESPECIALLY POPULAR RIDE WAS A ZIPLINE.
PARADE: THE PARADE IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR EVENTS OF THE FESTIVAL. THIS YEARS PARADE FEATURED FIVE MARCHING BANDS AND A PIPE AND DRUM CORP. LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND CHURCHES VIA FOR RIBBONS IN THE FLOAT DECORATING CONTEST.
