CIVIC ENGAGEMENT - IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR NETWORK ORGANIZATIONS, THE ALLIANCE FOR YOUTH ACTION DEVELOPS AND IMPLEMENTS LOCAL INTEGRATED CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND ELECTORAL PROGRAMS THAT HELP TRAIN AND DEVELOP NEW LEADERS, MOBILIZE YOUNG VOTERS, AND EDUCATE YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT KEY ISSUES IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. OUR PROGRAM ENGAGES WITH YOUNG PEOPLE YEAR-ROUND AND OVER MULTIPLE CYCLES, BUILDING HABITS THAT TRANSLATE INTO LIFELONG CIVIC ENGAGEMENT.
CAPACITY BUILDING - THROUGH ONGOING TRAINING AND COACHING, THE ALLIANCE FOR YOUTH ACTION BUILDS THE CAPACITY OF OUR LOCAL NETWORK ORGANIZATIONS. THE ALLIANCE PROVIDES DEEP CAPACITY BUILDING SUPPORT FOR 13 AFFILIATES AND LIGHTER SUPPORT TO AN ADDITIONAL 6 YOUTH ORGANIZING PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS IN THE AREAS OF OPERATIONS, FINANCE, PROGRAM, DATA, COMMUNICATIONS, AND DEVELOPMENT.
COMMUNICATIONS - THE ALLIANCE FOR YOUTH ACTION UTILIZES ITS NATIONAL BRAND TO MOBILIZE AND EDUCATE YOUNG VOTERS, AND SUPPORTS LOCAL AFFILIATES AND PARTNERS IN THEIR COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES AND EFFORTS. THROUGH COMMUNICATIONS, THE ALLIANCE FOR YOUTH ACTION FACILITATES NETWORK ORGANIZATIONS TO CONNECT WITH THEIR PEERS AND COMMUNITIES TO EXPAND THEIR REACH AND FURTHER THE MISSIONS OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS.
