THE RESERVE CONNECTION (TRC) IS A NONPROFIT 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS TO FOSTER AN APPRECIATION OF THE UNIQUE QUALITIES OF THE PROTECTED HABITAT THROUGH TARGETED ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS. SCHOOL PROGRAM: THE PURPOSE OF THE SCHOOL PROGRAM IS TO OFFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR HANDS-ON ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING THROUGH ONSITE FIELD TRIPS AND OFFSITE SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES. EACH KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE PROGRAM IS KEYED TO A SPECIFIC SET OF CALIFORNIA SCIENCE STANDARDS.
PUBLIC PROGRAM: THE PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC PROGRAM IS TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE ECOLOGY AND HISTORY OF THE RESERVE THROUGH ONSITE AND OFFSITE PROGRAMS AND LECTURES AND AT COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS.
