ANTI-BULLYING PROGRAMS: THIS IS OUR SIGNATURE CAUSE. WE EMPOWER STUDENTS TO SEE THE LIGHT IN THEMSELVES AND OTHERS AND BECOME UPSTANDERS TO END BULLYING. WE DO THIS THROUGH A VARIETY OF WAYS, INCLUDING 1) A POWERFUL ANTI-BULLYING ASSEMBLY LED BY A FATHER WHO LOST HIS 11 YEAR OLD SON TO SUICIDE FROM BULLYING; 2) STUDENT-LED ANTI-BULLYING PODCASTS; 3) STUDENT-CREATED ANTI-CYBERBULLYING CURRICULUM TITLED "BEHIND THE SCENES; 4) A PODCAST WITH A MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL WHO SPECIALIZES IN BULLYING PREVENTION; 5) PEACE AMBASSADOR TRAINING; 6) LGBTQ+ & MENTAL HEALTH YOUTH-HOSTED PODCASTS; AND 7) FURTHERING STUDENT-LED SOLUTIONS TO BULLYING. SEVERAL THOUSAND STUDENTS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY ARE PARTICIPATING IN OUR ANTI-BULLYING PROGRAMS.
SERVICE PROGRAMS: HELP STUDENTS FIND THEIR SERVICE PASSION AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE CAUSES THAT INSPIRE THEM. WE HAVE A VARIETY OF SERVICE PODCASTS, INCLUDING OUR WHAT CAUSE INSPIRES YOU PODCAST, WHICH AMPLIFIES THE VOICES OF YOUNG CHANGEMAKERS TO INSPIRE THEIR PEERS TO SERVICE FOR GREATER IMPACT. WE ALSO PARTNERED WITH THE ILLINOIS HOLOCAUST MUSEUM TO BRING THEIR TAKE A STAND CURRICULUM TO YOUTH VIRTUALLY, TEACHING THEM ABOUT SOCIAL JUSTICE AND INSPIRING THEM TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. OUR BREAKING BARRIERS PODCAST TEACHES YOUTH ABOUT OTHER CULTURES, SUCH AS THE LAKOTA TRIBE, AND MANY OTHERS. IT'S A WAY FOR YOUTH OF DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS TO GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER. OUR PROFESSIONAL PERSPECTIVES SERIES FEATURES OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY AND CORPORATE LEADERS WHO INSPIRE YOUTH TO SERVICE BY SHARING THEIR STORY.
