JWCF SUPPORTS PROGRAMS FOR CANCER PREVENTION AND EDUCATION/ADVOCACY, INCLUDING: "BLOCK THE BLAZE PROGRAM" BENEFITING THE CALIFORNIA JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS, USLA JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS WHICH INCLUDES DONATION OF SUNSCREEN AND SKIN CANCER PREVENTION TRAINING, AND OTHER CANCER EDUCATION/YOUTH SKIN CANCER AWARENESS.


JWCF SUPPORTS RESEARCH, TRAINING AND EDUCATION TO PHYSICIANS AROUND THE COUNTRY SPECIALIZING IN CANCER CARE AND RESEARCH WHO ARE GRADUATES OF THE JOHN WAYNE CANCER INSTITUTE.


JWCF SUPPORT UCI AND TEXAS TECH HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER. JWCF FUNDS ARE USED TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A JWCF SURGICAL ONCOLOGY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM DEDICATED TO CANCER RESEARCH, STATE OF THE ART PATIENT CARE AND TREATMENT, TRAINING OF ONCOLOGIC SCIENTISTS AND CLINICIANS AND EDUCATION THROUGH OUTREACH TO BROADER SCIENTIFIC, MEDICAL, AND LAY COMMUNITIES.
