OUR MAIN GOAL IS TO PROMOTE OUR DOWNTOWN WHICH IS A CRITICAL RETAIL AREA AND CENTER OF OUR TOWN. THE ECONOMIC HEALTH OF OUR COMMUNITY IS DEPENDENT ON THE DOWNTOWN SUCCESS AND IN ATTRACTING NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT. OUR SALES TAX DOLLARS GENERATED ARE VERY KEY TO PUBLIC SAFETY FUNDING. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS OUR EVENTS WERE COMPLETELY TERMINATED AND OUR ACTIVITIES WERE MAINLY RESTRICTED TO ZOOM MEETINGS AND SOME VISITS.WROTE AND MAILED TO OVER 14,000 RESIDENTS DIRECT MAILERS FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES AND NON-PROFITS. THIS WAS DONE ONCE IN THE FISCAL YEAR AND PROMOTES OUR DOWNTOWN MERCHANTS.SOLICITED ADS AND DESIGNED DOWNTOWN CITY MAP FOR MEMBERS PARTICIPATION. ARRANGING FOR PRINTING OF SEVERAL THOUSANDS TO BE DISTRIBUTED DOWNTOWN THIS SUMMER.DISTRIBUTED SANITIZER, MASKS AND SHOP LOCAL STICKERS TO OUR DOWNTOWN RETAILERS. SENT OUT WEEKLY EMAILS TO MEMBERS AND WIDER DISTRIBUTION TO WITH USEFUL INFORMATION FOR OUR BUSINESSES AND NON-PROFITS.HELD MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH SPEAKERS ON TOPICS OF GREAT INTEREST AND HELPFUL SUPPORT TO OUR BUSINESSES AND NON-PROFITSFROM FINANCIAL INFORMATION, SBDC, LEGAL IMPLICATIONS, SOCIAL MEDIA ADVICE, ETC.CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR CITY MANAGEMENT TO BOTH SUPPORT THE DOWNTOWN, PROVIDE INPUT AND FEEDBACK ON COVID MEASURES AND IMPACT, WORKED ON CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, PLANNING AND ZONING ISSUES, PARKING ISSUES AND VARIOUS TOPICS TO ENHANCE DOWNTOWN. FREQUENT MEETINGS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PARTNERSHIP.PROMOTION AND MARKETING ASSISTANCE SUPPLIED BY A MARKETING CONSULTANT THAT WE PAY FOR OUR MEMBERS SUPPORT. PROMOTION OF BUSINESSES ON OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.SUPPORT FOR THE #LOVELINCOLNCA PROGRAM TO PROMOTE SHOP LOCALLY. INPUT AND PROMOTION OF THIS PROGRAM.WE PARTICIPATED WEEKLY IN THE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MEETINGS AND WE PROVIDED CRITICAL SUPPORT TO THEIR PLACER SHARES GRANT PROGRAM FOR LINCOLN.
