BICK'S "PITS" ARE DOGS LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME! EVERY MONTH WE HIGHLIGHT A BICK'S "PIT" BUT EVERY DOG LISTED WILL MAKE AN AMAZING COMPANION! THIS PROGRAM ALSO COVERS MEDICAL TREATMENT OF SICK AND ABUSED DOGS.
CHICAGO LOVES "PITS" IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING INFORMATION AND AWARENESS FOR PROPER OWNERSHIP OF "PIT BULL" TYPE DOGS. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM WE STRIVE TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT WHY DOGS LABELED AS "PIT BULLS" ARE JUST LIKE ANY OTHER DOG WHO DESERVES LOVE, CARE AND PROPER TREATMENT. WE ACHIEVE THIS IN TWO WAYS - "PIT BULL" HEALTH CLINICS AND BICK'S ADOPTION AMBASSADORS.
PAWS FOR STRENGTH FOCUSES ON ASSISTING ABUSED CHILDREN THROUGH THE HELP OF CERTIFIED THERAPY "PIT BULL" TYPE DOGS WHO WERE ALSO ONCE ABUSED. BY BRINGING THE TWO TOGETHER WE CAN CREATE A POSITIVE AND HEALING ENVIRONMENT THROUGH THE HUMAN-ANIMAL BOND. WITH THIS PROGRAM WE HOPE TO SHOW THE RESILIENCY OF RESCUED "PIT BULLS" BY WORKING TO TRAIN THEM TO CONDUCT THERAPY WORK.
