IN 2022, REFUGE OF HOPE PERU PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO BOOST ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE, PROVIDE A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT, DEVELOP NEW SKILLS, AND SPARK NEW INTERESTS. WE OFFERED HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS TO BRIDGE THE SOCIOECONOMIC GAP FOR LOW-INCOME STUDENTS. WE SUPPORTED VULNERABLE FAMILIES BY BEING THE LINK BETWEEN THEM AND COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES. WE PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND DONATIONS FOR FAMILIES THAT FACED SHORT-TERM SOCIOECONOMIC NEEDS OR WERE EXPERIENCING A CRISIS. WE CREATED A SAFE SPACE WHERE WE TAUGHT BIBLE STORIES AND CHRISTIAN VALUES, LIKE DURING OUR VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL AND SATURDAY BIBLE CLUB. FINALLY, WE SUPPLIED VULNERABLE FAMILIES WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND CHRISTMAS FOOD BASKETS AND GIFTS.
