IN 2021, THE GRANTS TO MISION REFUGIO DE ESPERANZA PERU PROVIDED VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL, BIBLE STUDIES, TUTORING AND HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE, A SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, SOCIAL SERVICES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, PARENTING CLASSES, AND SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILL WORKSHOPS LIKE DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP, VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE, AND SEXUAL ABUSE PREVENTION. SPECIFICALLY, REFUGE OF HOPE PERU INVESTED OVER $6,000 IN COVID-RELATED SUPPORT; THIS PURCHASED 392 FOOD BASKETS AND COVERED ONLINE SCHOOLING NEEDS SUCH AS CELL PHONE PLANS AND WIFI. MOREOVER, THE NON-PROFIT TAUGHT 131 BIBLE STUDY CLASSES TO CHILDREN AND PARENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
