SIG HAS BEEN REWARDED MULTIPLE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO CONTRACTS TO WORK WITH YOUTH DETAINED IN THE JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT. SIG PROVIDES SERVICES INCLUDING WORKSHOPS AND RECREATIONAL AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES TO IMPROVE THE DAILY FUNCTIONING OF YOUTH IN DETENTION. SIG HELPS YOUTH PARTICIPANTS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE PROBATION REQUIREMENTS AND AVOID RE-INCARCERATION AFTER RELEASE.
