OPERATION REINVENT'S CAREER TRANSITION & EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS ARE PROVIDED TO WOMEN SERVICE MEMBERS WHO ARE WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF SEPARATION FROM THE MILITARY. THE WORKSHOPS ARE PRESENTED IN TWO SEGMENTS. THE FIRST SEGMENT, "PROFESSIONAL SKILL BUILDING & PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT," OFFERS EXPERT GUIDANCE ON CREATING AN EFFECTIVE RESUME, INTERVIEW SKILLS, KNOWING YOUR VALUE IN THE WORKPLACE, NETWORKING SKILLS, VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION AND SETTING CAREER GOALS. THE SECOND SEGMENT, "PROFESSIONAL IMAGE MAKEOVER," PROVIDES EACH PARTICIPANT WITH A PERSONALIZED HAIRCUT AND STYLING, EXPERT-APPLIED MAKEUP, A TOOLKIT OF BEAUTY PRODUCTS AND A BUSINESS IMAGE WARDROBE CONSULTATION.
