FOOD BAG PROGRAMS:WEEKEND FOOD BAGS - FREE FOOD BAGS DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE NATRONA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO CHILDREN IN NEED, SUFFERING FROM FOOD INSECURITY. EACH BAG CONTAINS A BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER FOR EACH DAY A CHILD IS OUT OF SCHOOL.SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM - THROUGH THE USDA, PROVIDES FREE LUNCHES IN THE SUMMER AT FIVE SITES WITH THE HELP OF AMERICORPS SUMMER ASSOCIATES TO ANY CHILD, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
FARMER'S MARKET - BOTH SUMMER AND WINTER. AN OPPORTUNITY TO CONNECT MORE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY WITH LOCALLY PROCUDED FOOD. A FREE SNACK IS PROVIDED TO CHILDREN IN THE SUMMER AS WELL AS ACCEPTING SNAP AT ALL MARKETS. IT PROMOTES THE DOUBLE UP FOOD BUCKS PROGRAM WHERE THOSE WHO USED SNAP ON PRODUCE RECEIVE TWICE THE MONEY TO SPEND THROUGH A SPONSORSHIP.
