THE ASSOCIATION TRACKS AND PARTICIPATES IN WATER-REGULATORY ACTIVITIES AFFECTING MISSOURI. IT MONITORS POLICY AND TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS. IT NEGOTIATED CHANGES TO STATE WATER RULES, PERMIT FEE CHANGES, ETC. WITH MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES, AND CHANGES TO STATE DISCHARGE PERMITS AND PERMIT BOILERPLATE. THE ASSOCIATION COMMENTED ON NUMEROUS RULEMAKINGS AFFECTING WATER/SEWER/STORMWATER REQUIREMENTS. IN ADDITION, IT HELPED DEVELOP A STATEWIDE NUTRIENT CONTROL STRATEGY.
