MEMBERS RECEIVE CERTIFICATION, TECHNICAL TRAINING, CONTINUING EDUCATION, MARKETING, BUSINESS RESOURCES, PROFESSIONAL NETWORKING, AND INDUSTRY ADVOCACY.

THE COUNCIL PROMOTES PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS FOR THE HVAC INDUSTRY AND A SCIENTIFIC APPROACH TO TESTING AND BALANCING AIR HANDLING SYSTEMS. THE COUNCIL CONDUCTS A CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR TEST-AND-BALANCE ENGINEERS AND A NATIONAL PERFORMANCE GUARANTY PROGRAM WHICH ASSURES OWNERS AND ENGINEERS THAT WHEN A COUNCIL FIRM IS SPECIFIED, SYSTEMS WILL BE BALANCED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS AND THE AABC NATIONAL STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES. THE COUNCIL SERVES NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS. THE COUNCIL PRODUCES A VARIETY OF REFERENCES FOR TESTING & BALANCING, INCLUDING STANDARDS, PROCEDURAL AND FIELD GUIDELINES, AND TRAINING MANUALS AND VIDEOS.
