CRES WAS FOUNDED TO ENGAGE POLICY MAKERS AND THE PUBLIC ON COMMONSENSE, CONSERVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS OUR NATION'S NEED FOR ABUNDANT, RELIABLE ENERGY WHILE PRESERVING OUR ENVIRONMENT. THIS WORK INCLUDED: 1. FEDERAL ADVOCACY IN SUPPORT OF ADVANCED ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES, R&D, AND CARBON CAPTURE SEQUESTRATION;2. PUBLIC EDUCATION AND POSITIVE ACCOUNTABILITY CAMPAIGNS (DIGITAL AND PAID MEDIA) IN SUPPORT OF CLEAN ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION, AND; 3. PROVIDING PUBLIC STATEMENTS OF SUPPORT FOR POLICY PRIORITIES VIA PRESS RELEASES, PAID MEDIA EFFORTS, PRESS ENGAGEMENTS, AND LETTERS OF SUPPORT.
