TO ENCOURAGE, SUPPORT AND HELP FUND THE RESTORATION AND RENOVATION OF THE WATERFRONT ESPLANADE ALONG THE EAST RIVER FROM 60TH STREET TO 120TH STREET IN MANHATTAN AS A PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN PROMENADE OR PUBLIC TRAIL FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WE HAVE SPONSORED PUBLIC MUSIC, FITNESS AND CULTURAL EVENTS. THE ORGANIZATION HOPES TO IMPROVE THE SAFETY AND QUALITY OF THE RUNNING AND BIKING PATHS, AND ACCESS TO FISHING PIERS, TO MAKE THE EAST RIVER WATERFRONT ESPLANADE A SAFE AND BEAUTIFUL DESTINATION FOR COMMUNITY USE AND FOR CULTURAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL EVENTS. ALL OF OUR ACTIVITIES BENEFITS THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT NYC PARKS WHO ARE ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CARE OF THE ESPLANADE.
