TO PROVIDE NEEDS OF SUDANESE ORPHANS WHO HAVE BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM THE UNITED NATIONS REFUGEE CAMP AND ENROLLED IN BOARDING SCHOOLS K-12 AND FUNDING TO SUPPORT GRADUATES WHO QUALIFY TO GO TO COLLEGE IN KENYA

PROVIDED SUPPORT, HOUSING, FOOD AND EDUCATION TO 86 SOUTH SUDANESE ORPHANS. 18 STUDENTS GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL IN 2021 WHILE 34 MOVED INTO MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL OR COLLEGE. 3 NEW STUDENTS WERE ADOPTED INTO THE K-8 ROOTS ACADEMY SCHOOL. WITH THE COVID RESTRICTIONS LIMITING MANY STUDENTS FROM ATTENDING CLASSES IN KENYA, OUR OLDER STUDENTS BAGAN TUTORING THE YOUNGER STUDENTS WHICH BLESSED ALL OF THEM AND GAVE THEM A FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON CHOOSING A CAREER PATH.
IN 2015 A COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM WAS ADDED FOR THOSE MEETING THE CRITERIA FOR ASSISTANCE. IN 2021 5 OF THE 7 STUDENTS BEING SUPPORTED GRADUATED FROM SEMINARY.
