THE PANTRY PROVIDES FOOD AND LITTER FOR FAMILIES IN THE LANCASTER, PA AREA. THE PETS INCLUDE CATS, DOGS, HAMSTERS, RABBITS AND MANY OTHER PETS. IN 2020 THE PANTRY HAS HELPED 185 FAMILIES GIVING OUT 63,651 POUNDS OF DRY DOG FOOD, 9,094 CANS OF DOG FOOD, 2,304 BAGS OF DOG TREATS, AND 7,971 POUNDS OF LITTER.
THE PANTRY PROVIDES VETERINARY SERVICES INCLUDING SPAY/NEUTERING CLINICS AND MICROCHIPPING. MEDICATIONS, SURGERIES AND OTHER PROCEDURES ARE PROVIDED AS NEEDED AT CLINICS RUN BY THE PANTRY. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE TRAP/NEUTERING FOR FERAL CAT POPULATIONS AND MEDICAL SERVICES AS NEEDED.
THE PANTRY PROVIDES DOG AND CAT ADOPTION SERVICES FOR THE COMMUNITY. ALL ANIMALS ARE EXAMINED AND PROVIDED CARE AS NEEDED INCLUDING VACCINES, NEUTERING OR OTHER SERVICES TO ENSURE THE ANIMALS ARE IN GOOD HEALTH.
