THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED TO CONDUCT AND SUPPORT ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, AND TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS (HEARTLAND FAMILY SERVICE, BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF THE MIDLANDS, THE SALVATION ARMY, AND MICAH HOUSE) IN RELATION TO THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS' OPERATIONS ON THE CHARLES E. LAKIN HUMAN SERVICES CAMPUS, AND THEIR PROGRAMS PROVIDING CHARITABLE HUMAN SERVICES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AT THE CAMPUS. THIS CAMPUS OFFERS VARIOUS SERVICES FOR LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS, INCLUDING HOUSING, EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE, SHELTER, PARENTING CLASSES AND AFTERSCHOOL ACTIVITIES.

ANY NET INCOME AFTER THESE PAYMENTS WILL, FIRST, BE USED TO BUILD A RESERVE FOR MAJOR REPAIRS AND, SECOND, BE DISTRIBUTED EQUALLY TO THE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS FOR REPAIR OR REFURBISHMENT OF THEIR FACILITIES ON THE CAMPUS.
