LOUIS, ITS FEDERATED MINISTRIES, AND OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT SOCIAL SERVICES ENTITIES TO ASSIST WITH THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR PROGRAMS IN SUPPORT OF THEIR MISSIONS. CATHOLIC CHARITIES FOUNDATION IS ALSO THE SOLE MEMBER OF LANGUAGE. ACCESS. MULTICULTURAL. PEOPLE. (LAMP) WHICH IS DISREGARDED FOR TAX PURPOSES. LAMP PROVIDES LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION SERVICES AS WELL AS MULTICULTURAL TRAINING.

LAMP PROVIDES LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION SERVICES TO LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENT (LEP), DEAF, AND HARD-OF-HEARING INDIVIDUALS. THIS LANGUAGE ACCESS SUPPORT, ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING SERVICES, STRENGTHENS THE CAPACITY OF OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE DIVERSE POPULATIONS THEY SERVE. LAMP'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS BY BRIDGING CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC DIVIDES. LAMP INTERPRETS OVER 100 LANGUAGES, PROVIDES AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) SERVICES, TRANSLATES MULTIPLE TYPES OF DOCUMENTS, AND EDUCATES CLIENTS IN VARIOUS INDUSTRY SETTINGS, INCLUDING MEDICAL & MENTAL HEALTH, EDUCATION, LEGAL, AND GOVERNMENT. SERVICE OPTIONS INCLUDE ON-SITE, PHONE AND VIDEO REMOTE. IN CALENDAR YEAR 2022, LAMP SERVED 25,990 PEOPLE, PROVIDED 481 HOURS OF PRO BONO INTERPRETING SERVICES, AND TRAINED 60 PROVIDERS ON WORKING WITH INTERPRETERS.
FINANCIALLY SUPPORT CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF ST. LOUIS, ITS FEDERATED MINISTRIES, AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ENTITIES TO ASSIST WITH THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR PROGRAMS IN SUPPORT OF THEIR MISSIONS. CATHOLIC CHARITIES FOUNDATION PROVIDES FUNDING IN ACCORDANCE WITH FORMAL POLICIES AND PRESCRIBED CALCULATIONS TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MINISTRY GRANTS, SUBSIDIES, AND LINES OF CREDIT.
