THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSES ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE, RELIGIOUS, AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF CODE SECTION 501(C)(3), AND SPECIFICALLY WITHIN THOSE PURPOSES TO OPERATE AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION DESCRIBED IN CODE SECTION 509(A)(3), EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, OR TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF MADE TO FLOURISH, INC., A KANSAS NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION DESCRIBED IN CODE SECTION 501(C)(3) AND A PUBLIC CHARITY DESCRIBED IN CODE SECTION 509(A)(1) OR 509(A)(2), FOR SO LONG AS MADE TO FLOURISH SHALL BE IN EXISTENCE AND SO DESCRIBED. THESE PROGRAMS, MODELED AFTER A HOSPITAL OR MEDICAL RESIDENCY, TAKE RECENT GRADUATES OF SEMINARY THROUGH A TWO TO THREE YEAR EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE WITH INTENTIONAL MENTORING. TO DATE, 35 CHURCHES HAVE STARTED MADE TO FLOURISH RESIDENCIES AND HAVE RECEIVED START UP GRANTS TO BEGIN THEIR PROGRAMS.
