INVESTMENT IN LOW INCOME HOUSING LIMITED PARTNERSHIPS- THE ORGANIZATION INVESTS AS A LIMITED PARTNER IN PARTNERSHIPS THAT OWN INCOME RESTRICTED PROPERTIES TO ACT AS A "PLACE-HOLDER" SO THAT THE AFFORDABILITY OF THESE PROPERTIES FOR LOW TO MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS CAN BE MAINTAINED. DURING 2022, THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINED INVESTMENTS IN SIX OF THESE PARTNERSHIPS OPERATING AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROPERTIES LOCATED IN ALABAMA.


INVESTMENT IN LOCAL COMMUNITY EFFORTS TO ASSIST LOW TO MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITY EFFORTS TO ASSIST LOW TO MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN THE HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS THAT THE ORGANIZATION IS PARTNERED WITH. ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE TO THESE RESIDENTS INCLUDE TUTORING FOR GRADES K-12, ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE LEARNING, MUSIC LESSONS, COMPUTER LAB LEARNING, FITNESS AND GAMING FACILITIES, SUPERVISED SWIMMMING, AND WEEKLY BIBLE STUDIES.


CONTRIBUTIONS TO LOCAL SECTION 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS WHO SERVE THE NEEDS OF LOW TO MODERATE INCOME HOUSEHOLDS - THE ORGANIZATION SERVES THE NEEDS OF RESIDENTS OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING BY CONTRIBUTING FUNDS TO WELL ESTABLISHED COMMUNITY BASED NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHO ARE ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND PROVIDE ASSISTANCE DIRECTLY TO QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS. IN 2022, CONTRIBUTIONS OF $108,250 WERE MADE TO SUCH ORGANIZATIONS TO FULFILL THE COMMUNITY'S NEEDS.
