GOD GEAR NC WORKS WITH THE PROBATION DEPARTMENT, DRUG COURT, DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, MENTAL HEALTH AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO HOUSE MEN AND WOMEN ON PROBATION OR DRUG COURT ORDER AND DHS. GOD GEAR OFFERS A SAFE ENVIROMENT FOR MEN ANS WOMEN IN TRANSITION TO LIVE. OD GEAR ALSO PROVIDES FOR WOMEN WHO ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REGAINING CUSTODY OF THEIR CHILDREN OR TO WOMEN WHO HAVE REGAINED CUSTODY OF THEIR CHILDREN A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE.MEN AND WOMEN WHO RESIDE UN GOD GEER TRANSITION HOME MUST DONFORM TO ALL HOUSE RULES THAT THE PROBATION DEPARTMENT, DRUG COUR, MENTAL HEALTH OR DHS HAS SET FOR THEM.
