GLC HAS A SINGLE PURPOSE: TO OVERSEE THE OPERATION OF THE OFF-CAMPUS COLLEGE PROGRAM CALLED "THE OREGON EXTENSION." THIS CONSISTS PRIMARILY OF A 16-WEEK FALL SEMESTER GRANTING FULL COLLEGE CREDIT TO STUDENTS ENROLLED IN 15 DIFFERENT COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES.
