THE MISSION OF CREATIVE WOMEN OF THE WORLD IS TO EQUIP WOMEN WITH ENTREPRENEURIAL RESOURCES TO DEVELOP A SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS THROUGH THE POWER OF THEIR OWN CREATIVITY. ENTREPRENEURIAL RESOURCES INCLUDE A SIX-MODULE BUSINESS TRAINING COURSE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR WOMEN IN SMALL CREATIVE BUSINESSES. IN ADDITION CWOW ALSO PROVIDES A RETAIL BOUTIQUE WHERE THEY CAN SELL THEIR HANDMADE PRODUCTS. NOT ONLY DO THE WOMEN WHO TAKE OUR COURSE HAVE ACCESS TO OUR MARKET BUT WE ALSO PARTNER WITH ORGANIZATIONS WHO WORK DIRECTLY WITH MARGINALIZED WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD BY MEETING THEIR GREATEST NEED A PLACE TO SELL THEIR PRODUCTS.

A VERY IMPORTANT ENTREPRENEURIAL RESOURCE IS PROVIDING A RETAIL OUTLET NOT ONLY FOR THE ARTISANS WE TRAIN BUT ALSO FOR ARTISANS IN 20+ COUNTRIES WHO WORK WITH ORGANIZATIONS WITH "BOOTS ON THE GROUND" TO HELP ARTISANS DEVELOP PRODUCTS WITH GLOBAL APPEAL. THESE ORGANIZATIONS FOLLOW FAIR TRADE PRACTICES BY PAYING FARE WAGES PROVIDING SUPPORTIVE WORK ENVIRONMENTS AND HELPING ARTISANS MOSTLY WOMEN OVERCOME THE EFFECTS OF POVERTY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
BUSINESS TRAINING IN NORTHEAST INDIANA CONTINUED WITH ONE CLASS HELD IN 2021 TO HELP BUDDING ENTREPRENEURS FORMALIZE THEIR BUSINESS IDEAS. AN EXPLORATORY TRAINING TRIP TO LEBANON WAS CONDUCTED IN 2021 TO DETERMINE A POTENTIAL COLLABORATION WITH ANOTHER NGO WORKING IN THE AREA DOING VOCATIONAL TRAINING. FUTURE WORK IS CONDITIONAL BASED ON THE SAFETY OF TRAVEL TO LEBANON ALTHOUGH TRAINING VIA ZOOM IS A PLAUSIBLE ALTERNATIVE. A COLLABORATION WITH AN ECUADOR-BASED NONPROFIT REHABILITATING WOMEN LEAVING PRISON WAS DEVELOPED WITH TRAINING VIA ZOOM SCHEDULED IN 2022. THE TRAINING MANUAL IS TO BE TRANSLATED INTO SPANISH IN 2022.
