THE MISSION OF END THE RACE IS TO SAFEGUARD THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS BY HELPING TRANSFORM THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AND REDEFINING CULTURAL NOTIONS OF SUCCESS AND ACHIEVEMENT. END THE RACE DEVELOPS TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO SUPPORT SCHOOL COMMUNITIES WORKING TO SUPPORT STUDENT HEALTH AND LEARNING. THE ORGANIZATION'S ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUILDING NETWORKS OF CONCERNED INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES, DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF WRITTEN EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO FACILITATE DISCUSSION AND STIMULATE IDEAS FOR CHANGING THE EDUCATION SYSTEM AND SUPPORTING EDUCATION ADVOCATES.

WORK INCLUDES OUTREACH TO A NETWORK OF INDIVIDUALS, SCHOOLS AND ORGANIZATIONS AND FOSTERING NEW RELATIONSHIPS VIA EMAIL, SOCIAL MEDIA, AS WELL AS RELATIONSHIP BUILDING. THE WORK HAS RAISED AWARENESS OF THE HEALTH AND LEARNING CRISIS, SPARKED LOCAL AND NATIONAL CONVERSATION AND INSPIRED CHANGES BOTH SMALL AND LARGE IN CLASSROOMS, SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES.
