MUSIC FESTIVAL: THE PURPOSE OF THE RED ANTS PANTS MUSIC FESTIVAL IS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE SKILLS AND VALUES THAT ARE THE CORNERSTONE TO ENRICHING RURAL MONTANA. THIS IS DONE THROUGH OUR DEMONSTRATION AREA WHERE TRADITIONAL AGRICULTURAL AND WORK SKILLS ARE TAUGHT, AS WELL AS OUR KIDS TENT WITH EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. THE FESTIVAL ALSO BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER TO EXPERIENCE WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS AND A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION ON A WORKING CATTLE RANCH. THE EVENT ALSO RAISES FUNDS FOR THE RED ANTS PANTS FOUNDATION.
SKILLS WORKSHOPS: OFFERING TECHNICAL SKILL BASED WORKSHOPS IN TIMBER SKILLS AND CARPENTRY.
RAPF GIRLS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. JUNIOR YEAR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS FROM RURAL MONTANA PARTICIPATE IN A YEAR LONG LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. IT CONSISTS OF THREE WEEKEND LONG RETREATS, 3 WEBINARS, A MENTORSHIP PARTNERSHIP, AND A HOMETOWN COMMUNITY PROJECT. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO INCREASE HOPE FOR OUR YOUTH, PRIDE IN OUR RURAL COMMUNITIES, AND STRENGTH AND COURAGE IN THEIR LEADERSHIP.
