TO ASSIST CANCER PATIENTS IN GEORGIA WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OF UP TO $600 PER YEAR. THESE FUNDS ARE USED TO PAY HOUSEHOLD BILLS ON BEHALF OF THE PATIENT. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS WITH AUTOMOBILE, GAS AND GROCERIES AS PART OF THE $600 BY PROVIDING GIFT CARDS TO THE PATIENTS.
TO PROVIDE A GENERAL SUPPORT FOR CANCER PATIENTS. THE GROUPS PARTICIPATE IN MANY FORMS OF SUPPORT THERAPY FROM CRAFTS TO RELAXATION AND MASSAGE EXERCISES. ADDITIONALLY, EDUCATION IS PROVIDED ON TOPICS SUCH AS SELF-HELP, NUTRITION, CARE DURING TREATMENT AND HOW TO TRANSITION BACK INTO THE WORK FORCE.
