TO ASSIST CANCER PATIENTS IN GEORGIA WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OF UP TO $600 PER YEAR. THESE FUNDS ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO UTILITY COMPANIES, PHARMACIES OR BILL COLLECTORS ON BEHALF OF THE PATIENT. THE ORGANIZATION ASSISTS WITH AUTOMOBILE GAS AND GROCERIES AS PART OF THE $600 BY PROVIDING GIFT CARDS TO THE PATIENTS.
TO PROVIDE A GENERAL SUPPORT GROUP WHICH MET VIRTUALLY IN 2021. THE GROUPS PARTICIPATE IN MANY FORMS OF SUPPORT THERAPY FROM CRAFTS TO RELAXATION AND MASSAGE EXERCISES. ADDITIONALLY, EDUCATION IS PROVIDED ON TOPICS SUCH AS SELF-HELP, NUTRITION, CARE DURING TREATMENT AND HOW TO TRANSITION BACK INTO THE WORK FORCE.
