THE SOCIETY IS AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF RESEARCHERS IN THE FIELD OF EATING DISORDERS INTERESTED IN ANOREXIA NERVOSA, BULIMIA NERVOSA, BINGE-EATING DISORDER AND OBESITY. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO HOLD AN ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING DURING WHICH THE MOST RECENT RESEARCH IN THE FIELD CAN BE PRESENTED AND DISCUSSED.

SPONSORED ANNUAL CONVENTION/SYMPOSIUM FOR PRESENTATION OF CURRENT RESEARCH AND SCIENTIFIC PAPERS TO MEMBERSHIP. THE MEETING WAS HELD DURING SEPTEMBER OF 2023 IN BOSTON, MA. PRESENTATIONS INCLUDED NUMEROUS WORKSHOPS; POSTERS AND ORAL SUBMISSIONS; INVITED SPEAKERS; SHORT PAPER SESSIONS; POSTER SESSIONS;LECTURES AND ADDRESSES. THERE WERE OVER 300 ATTENDEES FROM 20 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.
