Part 3 - Line 4a
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - EDUCATION CONFERENCES, REGION AND BRANCH EVENTS. THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF EVENTS IN THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CATEGORY INCLUDE CERTIFICATE COURSES AT CAPSTONE EACH SPRING AND FALL, A 16-WEEK LONG LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COURSE, AND LOCAL MONTHLY WEBINARS AND TRAININGS AT REGION AND BRANCH EVENTS. THIS YEAR'S EVENTS WERE IN PERSON AND VIRTUAL; CAPSTONE HAD 568 ATTENDEES AND TOTAL BRANCH AND REGION EVENTS WERE 238 AND 54, RESPECTIVELY.
SUMMIT - THE NUMBER OF ATTENDEES FOR THE CONFERENCE DURING THE FISCAL YEAR WAS 1,320. THE MEETING'S OBJECTIVE WAS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO MEMBERS AS WELL AS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.
