THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE FOR THE ST LOUIS CHAMBER CHORUS IS TO PERFORM CLASSICAL A CAPPELLA CHORAL MUSIC. THE PROFESSIONAL CHOIR PERFORMS SIX CONCERTS EACH YEAR ATTRACTING A TOTAL ATTENDANCE OF 1,800 - 2,000. THE REPERTOIRE INCLUDES UNFAMILIAR MASTERWORKS AND NEW COMMISSIONED WORKS. PUBLICATIONS INCLUDE THE ANNUAL SEASON BROCHURE AND THE ANNUAL SEASON PROGRAM BOOK WHICH INCLUDES ARCHITECTURAL ESSAYS ABOUT VENUES. IN ADDITION WE PROVIDE SIX SETS OF DETAILED PROGRAM NOTES ABOUT THE MUSIC PERFORMED AT EACH CONCERT. WE ALSO PUBLISH THREE TO SIX NEWSLETTERS EACH YEAR.
