PROGRAM ACTIVITIES FOSTER MUSIC EDUCATION BY PROVIDING YOUNG SINGERS AGES 6-18 WITH MUSICAL TRAINING AND CHARACTER BUILDING THROUGH QUALITY CHORAL LITERATURE AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES IN ST. LOUIS AND AROUND THE WORLD. STUDENTS LEARN CHORAL SINGING, PERFORMING, MUSIC READING, ARTISTRY AND EXPRESSION - ALL WHILE DEVELOPING KEY CHARACTER AND ACHIEVEMENT SKILLS SUCH AS TEAMWORK, SELF-DISCIPLINE, CONCENTRATION, AND RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND INCLUSION ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PUBLIC CONCERTS, NEEDS-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR MUSIC EDUCATORS IN UNDER-RESOURCED SCHOOLS, AND INTERACTIVE CHORAL PERFORMANCES IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.
