THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM DESIGNED TO PROVIDE MISSOURIANS THE INFORMATION, SKILLS, AND CONTACTS TO MAKE THEM MORE EFFECTIVE LEADERS IN THEIR BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE STUDENTS ENTERING HIGH SCHOOL WITH LEADERSHIP SKILLS ALONG WITH AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPLETING RIGOROUS, DEFINED COURSES OF STUDY. THE FOUNDATION ALSO FACILITATES A DOL GRANT THAT PROVIDES SUPPORT TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES THAT ARE CREATING OR EXPANDING REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS.

GRANTS - DOL GRANT - THROUGH THE INDUSTRY-DRIVEN IT APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM, THE MISSOURI CHAMBER FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO IT COMPANIES THAT ARE CREATING OR EXPANDING REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS. THE MISSOURI CHAMBER FOUNDATION PROVIDES AN $800-$1,200 REIMBURSEMENT PER APPRENTICE TRAINED BY PARTICIPATING COMPANIES, WHILE THE COMPANIES IN THE GRANT SERVE AS MENTORS TO EACH OTHER AND SHARE BEST PRACTICES TO IMPROVE THEIR TRAINING AND RECRUITING SYSTEMS. OVER THE FOUR YEARS OF THE GRANT, THE MISSOURI CHAMBER FOUNDATION WILL HELP TRAIN MORE THAN 5,300 IT APPRENTICES.ARPA GRANT - THROUGH THE INDUSTRY-DRIVEN HEALTH CARE APPRENTICESHIPS PROGRAM, THE MISSOURI CHAMBER FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO HEALTHCARE COMPANIES THAT ARE CREATING OR EXPANDING APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS RELATED TO WORKFORCE TRAINING.
STRATEGIC PLAN - THIS PROGRAM WAS PUT IN PLACE TO DEVELOP A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE FUTURE CALLED "VISION 2030". A CONSULTANT WAS HIRED TO ADMINISTER THE STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS AND GALLUP WAS HIRED TO PRODUCE DATA TO BE USED FOR THE STRATEGIC PLAN.
