THE ADVANCED PRACTICE NURSES OF THE OZARKS (APNO) WAS FORMED IN 1993 BY JUST A FEW NURSE PRACTITIONERS IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI IN ORDER TO PROVIDE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. OVER THE YEARS, THE ORGANIZATION HAS DEVELOPED INTO A FULLY FUNCTIONING, NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATION WHICH OFFERS A MULTITUDE OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUCATION, NETWORKING, AND PROMOTING THE PRACTICE OF APN'S.
