THE MISSOURI ASSOCIATION OF MANUFACTURERS (MAM) IS AN INDEPENDENT, NONGOVERNMENTAL, VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATION WITH A MISSION TO REPRESENT AND PROMOTE MANUFACTURERS FOR THE CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE COMMUNITY, THE ECONOMY, AND THE ENVIRONMENT. ALL MEMBERS MUST BE FROM A MANUFACTURING ENTITY THAT OPERATES IN THE STATE OF MISSOURI. ALL MAM ACTIVITIES FOCUS SOLELY ON THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.

MAM MEMBER MEETING EVENTS - ONE PRIMARY ACTIVITY OF MAM IS TO HOLD VARIOUS MEETINGS FOR MEMBERS IN ORDER TO FACILITATE NETWORKING OF MANUFACTURERS AND ENCOURAGE SHARING OF BEST BUSINESS PRACTICES AMONG MEMBERS. MEETINGS ARE HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT VARIOUS REGIONAL SITES WITH PRESENTING SPEAKERS COVERING A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS OF INTEREST TO OUR MEMBER MANUFACTURERS. MAM HELD 2 LARGE EVENTS IN 2022 PROVIDING EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO MANUFACTURERS ON IMPORTANT TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THEM.
MEMBER BENEFITS: MEMBER BENEFITS AND PROGRAMS MAY CONSIST OF SAVINGS ON FREIGHT CHARGES, TRAINING AND EDUCATION, HEAVY EQUIPMENT, LABOR LAW POSTERS, OFFICE EQUIPMENT, CREDIT CARD PROCESSING FEES, ETC. THE REVENUES ARE COMPRISED MOSTLY FROM MAM ADMINISTRATIVE FEES GENERATED FROM MEMBER DISCOUNT PROGRAMS.
MAM HEALTHSOURCE FEE - ONE OF MAM'S MEMBER BENEFITS IS THE HEALTHCARE PROGRAM. MAM HEALTHSOURCE (MAMHS), A HEALTHCARE PLAN, WHICH WAS FORMED FOR THE BENEFIT OF MANUFACTURING COMPANIES. MAM DOES NOT DIRECTLY OFFER HEALTH INSURANCE PLANS, BUT AS A BONA FIDE ASSOCIATION, MAM ADMINISTERS THE MAMHS MULTIPLE EMPLOYER WELFARE ARRANGEMENT (MEWA) PROGRAM. MAM'S EXPENSES ARE FULLY REIMBURSABLE UNDER THE EXECUTED EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT THE MAMHS FEE. MAMHS CURRENTLY SERVES 72 MANUFACTURING GROUPS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
PARTNERSHIP AND SPONSORSHIP REVENUE - MAM SELECTS AND ENGAGES SPECIFIC NONMEMBER, NONMANUFACTURING ENTITIES TO PARTNER WITH THE ASSOCIATION IN AN ALLIED NETWORK PARTNERS (ANP) OR SPONSOR PROGRAM TO SHARE EXPERTISE IN AREAS RELEVANT TO BUSINESS OPERATIONS. ANP'S AND SPONSORS MAY INCLUDE ENTITIES THAT SPECIALIZE IN LAW, ACCOUNTING, INSURANCE, HUMAN RESOURCES, CAPITAL EQUIPMENT, PRODUCT TRANSPORTATION, MARKETING AND SALES, ETC. THE ANP'S MAKE AN ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION TO MAM IN ORDER TO SUPPORT AND NETWORK WITH THE MEMBERSHIP AND BECOME AN AVAILABLE RESOURCE FOR PROBLEM RESOLUTIONS WITHIN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY.
