THE COMMISSION RECEIVES, AS CONTRIBUTIONS, 4/15 OF THE TOTAL REVENUE DERIVED FROM THE ST. LOUIS CITY AND COUNTY HOTEL/MOTEL SALES TAX. THE COMMISSION DISTRIBUTES THIS REVENUE BY FUNDING OR MAKING GRANTS TO NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS FOR ACTIVITIES IN ST. LOUIS CITY AND COUNTY. THE COMMISSION MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR OTHER INSTITUTIONS TO CONTINUE TO PERFORM AND FOSTER ART ACTIVITIES. SEE SCHEDULE I FOR GRANT PAYMENTS.
